Fells Point Wholesale Meats was founded in 1993 when Erik Oosterwijk and Leo Pruissen opened their business in Baltimore's historic Broadway Market.

Both owners are originally from Holland and learned their craft in local butcher shops and then finished their education at butcher schools in Europe.

The business has grown quickly since its inception, and Erik and Leo have stayed true to their roots, while teaching an entire new generation of butchers the finer points of their craft.
